About the role
**Title**
Labor & Delivery RN – Labor & Delivery
**Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
- Travel RN experience required
- RN licensure: Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
- Preferred: AWHONN Intermediate
- Required ratio experience: 1:1 and 1:2
- Key clinical skills:
- Management of labor: vaginal deliveries, C-sections, multiple births
- Postpartum hemorrhage recognition/management; hemorrhage/shock care
- High-risk antepartum care
- Fetal monitoring: external and internal monitoring, IUPC placement and calibration
- Cesarean assistance/recovery and OR circulation experience
- Neonatal basics: APGAR, radiant warmer use, cord sampling, baby catch
- Procedures: sterile vaginal exams, starting/maintaining IVs, blood product administration
- Charting system: Epic (required)
**Compliance / Notes**
- Orientation: 24 hours (may vary by contract length)
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
- Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start
