About the role
**Title**
Registered Nurse – Procedural Unit
**Schedule**
- 36 hours per week
- Two 10-hour shifts: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Two 8-hour shifts: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
**Assignment Details**
- Average daily census: 20
- 3 procedure rooms, 11 beds
- Weekend requirement: 2–3 weekends per contract
- On-call: 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call every 6 weeks
**Requirements**
- RN licensure in the state or Compact license required
- Minimum of 1 year clinical RN experience
- ERCP experience required (including ERCP with SpyGlass)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing various procedures.
- Monitor and administer conscious sedation as appropriate.
- Act as a circulating and/or scrubbing nurse for ERCP, bronchoscopy, EBUS, colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient care and procedure details in the electronic health record.
**Compliance / Notes**
- Orientation: 40 hours with modules based on specialty
- Full compliance required to start on time
- Traveler expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment
