About the role
**TITLE**
Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
**REQUIREMENTS**
- GA or Compact RN licensure required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; 1st-time travelers accepted
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Core clinical skills:
- Management of LVADs, IABP/balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers
- Pulmonary artery (Swan) catheter monitoring
- CRRT/CVVHD care
- Post-cardiac surgery and post-catheterization care
- Ventilator management, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia recognition
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips; sedation for intubated patients
**SCHEDULE**
- Weekends: every other weekend (approximately 6 weekend shifts per contract)
- Orientation: ~24 hours
**COMPLIANCE / NOTES**
- Max 7 days of time off per contract; RTO requests must be finalized at submission
- Traveler expected to work major holidays as specified
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
