CareCommunity Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement") govern your access to and use of CareCommunity powered by CareConnect, including caregiver and agency services, and constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CareConnect, Inc.
1. Eligibility
Caregivers must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Agencies must be licensed providers of homecare, home health, or related services. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
2. User Accounts
Caregivers and agencies must create accounts to access the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Caregiver Profiles
Caregivers may curate professional profiles and upload credentials. CareConnect may verify, but does not guarantee the accuracy of, caregiver-submitted information. Caregivers control agency access to their profiles.
4. Agency Access and Membership
Agencies may purchase monthly memberships to access caregiver profiles at discounted rates. Non-member agencies may access profiles at higher per-candidate fees. All payments must be made via credit card through Stripe. Memberships are non-transferable across brands or divisions.
5. Auto-Renewal & Payments
All memberships automatically renew monthly. Agencies authorize recurring billing until membership is canceled in compliance with this Agreement.
6. Privacy & HIPAA Compliance
CareConnect will handle personal and health-related information, such as immunizations and physical exam records, in accordance with HIPAA and our Privacy Policy.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to misuse the platform, including attempting unauthorized access, reselling membership access, or using caregiver data outside the scope of permitted employment purposes.
8. Intellectual Property
CareCommunity content, branding, and software are owned by CareConnect. Users are granted limited, revocable licenses to use the platform for permitted purposes only.
9. Disclaimers
CareConnect provides the platform 'as is' and makes no guarantees regarding employment outcomes. CareConnect is not liable for the decisions or actions of caregivers or agencies.
10. Arbitration & Governing Law
Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Boston, Massachusetts, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Massachusetts law governs this Agreement.
11. Miscellaneous
This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer, constitutes the entire agreement between users and CareConnect. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
By using CareCommunity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
