Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
**Assignment Details**
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
**Requirements**
- Current RN license in state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- One year of acute care experience.
- Recent experience in Emergency Department nursing.
- Recent EPIC experience.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide nursing care, including triage, treatment, and discharge care for patients in the Emergency Department.
- Conduct accurate triage assessments and notify the Emergency Medical Doctor of any abnormal findings.
- Administer medications and provide medication side effects education to patients.
- Recognize symptoms of cardiac or respiratory distress and implement appropriate interventions.
- Maintain competence in routine nursing skills, including medication administration and intravenous therapy.
- Accurately interpret ECG rhythms and manage care during life-threatening emergencies.
