Registered Nurse (RN) - Charge Acute Care

**Title:** Nurse Leader - Nursing **Schedule:** Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM **Assignment Details:** - Contract Weeks: 13 - Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 **Requirements:** - Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required - Master’s Degree: Preferred - Five years' technical experience: Preferred - Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required - Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required - AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required - AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Provide unit-based leadership in the development and provision of clinical services. - Supervise and direct unit personnel in patient care activities. - Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences with health team members and patients to optimize care plans. - Monitor and evaluate personnel performance to ensure quality patient care. - Foster an environment of patient and family-centered care with attention to cultural diversity and personal needs. - Investigate and resolve patient care and operational issues as necessary.
