Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

**TITLE:** Registered Nurse – Operating Room **SCHEDULE:** 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM **ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:** Contract Weeks: 13 Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 **REQUIREMENTS:** - Current RN license in state of practice: Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required - One year previous full-time experience in the operating room: Required - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Preferred - Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR): Preferred **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists and coordinate the flow of equipment, supplies, and staff during surgical procedures. - Ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care. - Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment. - Operate all equipment routinely utilized in the Operating Room safely. - Prepare patients for surgery, including appropriate anatomical positioning. - Document relevant information for patient care and meet established department criteria. **COMPLIANCE / NOTES:** - Position is represented by CNA. - Efficiently utilize downtime for job-related tasks.
