Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

**Title** Labor & Delivery RN – Labor & Delivery **Requirements** - Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience required - Travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted) - Epic charting experience required - Valid state nursing license (compact license must be active at time of submission) - Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate - Preferred: ACLS **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide care for patients during labor and delivery, including low-risk antepartum and postpartum care. - Circulate for cesarean sections and assist during OB-GYN surgeries. - Perform triage assessments of obstetrical patients and manage labor support. - Administer medications and manage patient care for blood products, magnesium sulfate, and insulin drips. - Support neonatal transition care in the nursery and conduct sterile vaginal exams. - Attend and assist with both high-risk deliveries and GYN surgeries. **Compliance / Notes** - Travelers may be expected to float to postpartum and NICU based on skill set. - Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day. - All time-off requests must be submitted upfront with submission.
