Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

**Title** Labor & Delivery RN - Nursing **Requirements** - Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience - Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted - Epic charting experience required - Valid state nursing license (compact license must be active at time of submission) - Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate - Preferred certification: ACLS **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide care for patients during labor and delivery, including preterm labor and low-risk antepartum - Assist with couplet care and neonatal transition nursery - Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries - Circulate for C-sections and recover patients post-operatively - Manage and administer medications and blood products as required - Conduct sterile vaginal exams, assist with GYN surgeries, and provide post-operative care **Compliance / Notes** - Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day - All requests for time off/scheduling must be submitted up front - Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities; refusal may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
