About the role
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 2 years RN Labor & Delivery experience required
- Travel experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
- Preferred: ACLS
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
- Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases
- Circulate for C-sections, assist with OB-GYN procedures, and provide post-operative care
- Perform assessments, monitor fetal heart rates, and manage high-risk deliveries
- Administer medications, including drips and blood products, as needed
- Maintain patient records using electronic charting systems
**Compliance / Notes:**
- Compact state license must be in hand at submission
- Orientation and pre-start modules are required
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year’s Day)
