Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

**Title** Labor & Delivery RN – Labor & Delivery **Requirements** - Minimum 2 years recent L&D experience - Travel experience required (does not accept first-time travelers) - Epic charting experience required - Valid state nursing license (compact license must be active at time of submission) - Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. - Monitor fetal and maternal well-being throughout labor and delivery. - Assist with C-sections and OB-GYN procedures as assigned. - Conduct sterile vaginal exams and manage complications as they arise. - Administer medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions. - Provide couplet and transitional nursery care for newborns. **Compliance / Notes** - Compact license must be in hand at submission. - Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities; refusal may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. - References and background checks are required. - Submit all RTO/scheduling requests up front.
