Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 16, 2026
CareCommunity is a job and hiring platform for care professionals, operated by Care Connect, LLC ("CareConnect," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect about care professionals and job applicants, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
It applies to carecommunity.health, including the job board and agency career pages on it. It also applies to the CareCommunity apps, the applicant tracking tools agencies use on our platform, and the texts, emails and calls we send or make. Certain surveys we run on CareCommunity may include additional or different ways we use your answers. Those survey-specific uses are explained in the survey and apply only to your answers to that survey.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us, information that agencies, job boards and other people send us, and some information collected automatically.
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, email, mobile phone number, and home address or ZIP code
- Profile and work history: your discipline, experience, care settings, languages, availability, preferred locations, license or certification numbers, whether you are eligible to work in the US, and whether you have reliable transportation
- Résumé and cover letter
- Application answers: your answers to an agency's application and screening questions. Some agencies need sensitive details to hire you, such as your date of birth or Social Security number. Only agency staff with permission can see these details.
- Your text messaging choice and the date and time you made it
- Messages you send to agencies or to us by text, email or in the app
Information from agencies, job boards and partners
When you apply through a job board such as Indeed, through an agency's career page, or through an applicant tracking system an agency uses, we receive what you submitted with that application. This includes your answers to screening questions, such as whether you agreed to receive text messages about your application.
The agencies you apply to may add their own information about you, such as interview notes and your hiring status. They may also collect onboarding records from you and keep them on CareCommunity, such as certifications, CPR cards, TB test results, immunization and physical exam records, photo ID and employment eligibility forms.
If you also use other CareConnect services, such as training courses, we may combine information from those services, such as your work history, with your CareCommunity profile.
Information collected automatically
When you use our site or apps, we collect device and usage information through cookies, browser storage and similar technologies. This includes your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, the links you click, and the dates and times of your visits. Our analytics tools may record how you move through a page, such as clicks and scrolling, so we can find and fix problems. When you arrive from one of our ads, we use tags to measure whether the ad led to a sign-up.
How we use information
We use your information to run the platform and help you get hired. We use it to:
- Create and maintain your CareCommunity profile and account
- Match you with jobs, and show agencies looking for care professionals a summary of your profile
- Share your profile, application and messages with agencies as described in this policy
- Contact you by text, email and phone about your applications, interviews, documents and requests to share your profile, and about related job opportunities if you agreed
- Provide support and answer your questions
- Keep the platform secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and keep records of your consent and opt-outs
- Improve our site, apps and services
- Comply with the law and enforce our terms
Text messaging
We text you about jobs only if you agreed to receive texts.
- How you opt in: by checking the text messaging box when you create a CareCommunity profile or apply to a job through CareCommunity or an agency's career page. You can also opt in by answering yes to a text messaging question on a job board application.
- What we send: texts from CareCommunity about your job applications to home care agencies. These include screening questions, document requests, interview scheduling, status updates and requests to share your profile with an agency. If you agreed to them, we also send related job opportunities. Agency recruiters may write some messages, which CareCommunity sends on their behalf.
- Frequency: message frequency varies based on your applications.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
- Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We will send one message confirming you are unsubscribed. Reply START to resubscribe.
- Help: reply HELP to any message, or email support@carecommunity.health.
- Not required: agreeing to texts is not a condition of applying for a job or using CareCommunity.
We will not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Agencies that receive your profile get your phone number only to contact you about working for them.
Agencies, and our own recruiting team, may also call you about jobs you applied for or showed interest in. Some of these calls may use an automated voice assistant. To stop these calls, tell the caller or email support@carecommunity.health.
Retention, security and children
Retention. We keep your information while your account is active and as long as we need it to provide our services. After you close your account, we keep records of your text messaging consent and opt-outs for as long as the law requires, so we can honor your choices and show that consent was given.
Security. We protect your information with administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls. Sensitive application details are visible only to agency staff with permission to see them. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children. CareCommunity is for adults seeking work in home care. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can control what we hold about you and how we contact you.
- Profile: update it in your account at any time.
- Profile sharing: stop sharing your profile with an agency at any time in your account settings, under Who can see your profile. The agency keeps what it already received.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message.
- Email: every email an agency sends you about an application includes a link to unsubscribe from that agency's emails. We still send emails you need to use your account, such as sign-in links, requests to share your profile, and notices that an agency added you.
- Documents, access, correction and deletion: email support@carecommunity.health to remove a document, get a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account. Where the law requires, we may keep some records, such as consent and opt-out records.
- State privacy rights: depending on where you live, state law may give you more rights. Contact us to use them. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.
Agencies also keep the information you shared with them, under their own privacy practices. When you apply on an agency's career page, the agency decides how it uses your application and we handle it on the agency's behalf. Contact the agency directly about information it holds.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, where required, we will notify you. Continuing to use CareCommunity after a change means you accept it.
For questions or requests, email support@carecommunity.health.
