Registered Nurse – Home Health

Schedule

Day 5x8-Hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility based on the needs of the Home Health office.

Assignment Details

Self-scheduled home skilled visits, averaging 6-8 visits per day.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of home health experience with OASIS training and experience required.
• Infusion experience and skilled home care experience required; private duty nursing experience will not be accepted.
• IV skills and wound care knowledge necessary.
• Experience with general medical diagnoses and high-risk diagnoses such as heart failure, COPD, myocardial infarction, pneumonia, and stroke.
• Post-operative care experience required.
• Current BCLS certification is required.
• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for home visits is necessary.
• Must be COVID vaccinated or have an exemption form on file; flu shot or declination required, with mandatory mask-wearing at all times while at work.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiopulmonary assessments and basic wound care.
• Manage ABI compression dressing, wound vac dressing, and Pleurx/Aseptdrain care.
• Change and care for foley catheters, and perform staple/suture removals.
• Utilize a glucometer, pro-time machine, and conduct SQ/IM injections.
• Conduct lab draws and venipunctures.
• Care for PICC lines or Midlines, including dressing changes and SQ port access/deaccess.
