Registered Nurse – Home Health

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00). Hours can vary depending on the needs of the HomeCare office.

Assignment Details

Skilled home visits, averaging 6-8 per day, self-scheduled based on needs.

Requirements

• Must have valid nursing license.
• 1 year of skilled home health experience required.
• OASIS training and experience.
• Infusion experience required.
• Certification in BCLS.
• Experience with IV skills, wound care, and general medical diagnoses.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for home visits.
• COVID-19 vaccination or exemption form on file; influenza vaccination required with mandatory masking.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiopulmonary assessments and basic wound care.
• Change and care for foley catheters and perform staple/suture removals.
• Execute lab draws and IV skills, including PICC line or midline care and dressing changes.
• Monitor and administer SQ/IM injections, glucometer use, and pro-time machine operations.
• Provide post-operative care and support high-risk diagnoses such as heart failure, COPD, myocardial infarction, pneumonia, and stroke.
