Registered Nurse – Home Health

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours, with varying hours as needed by the office.

Assignment Details

Home skilled visits: 6-8 per day.

Requirements

• 1 year of home health experience required.
• Infusion experience is necessary.
• OASIS training and experience.
• IV skills and wound care knowledge.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle for home visits.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Must be COVID vaccinated or provide an exemption form.
• Must have received a flu shot or provide declination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiopulmonary assessments and basic wound care.
• Manage ABI compression dressing and wound vac dressing.
• Provide care for Pleurx and Aseptic drain management.
• Change and care for Foley catheters.
• Perform staple and suture removal.
• Utilize glucometers and pro-time machines for patient care.
• Administer SQ/IM injections and perform lab draws via venipuncture.
• Provide IV care and dressing changes for PICC lines or Midlines.
• Access and deaccess SQ ports.
