Registered Nurse – Home Health

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours, with flexibility based on the needs of the HomeCare office, typically Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM. Possibility of alternating weekend shifts.

Assignment Details

Home health visits, with an expectation of 6-8 visits per day.

Requirements

• 1 year of home health experience required.
• Must have valid driver's license and personal car for home visits.
• COVID vaccination or exemption form on file required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Home health experience with OASIS training and skilled home care experience (private duty nursing experience not accepted).
• Infusion experience and general medical and high-risk diagnoses (such as HF, COPD, MI, Pneumonia, Stroke) required.
• IV skills and wound care experience necessary.
• Flu shot or declination required, with mandatory mask-wearing at all times while at work.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cardiopulmonary assessments.
• Provide basic wound care, including ABI compression dressing and wound vac dressing.
• Perform foley catheter changes and care, staple/suture removal, and use of glucometer.
• Conduct lab draws via venipuncture.
• Administer SQ/IM injections and manage IV, PICC line, or midline care and dressing changes.
• Access/deaccess SQ ports as required.
