About the role
**Title:** Registered Nurse – Long Term Care
**Schedule:**
- Weekend coverage: Every Other Week
- Ratios: Days 1:21 | Nights 1:42 | Weekends 1:21
**Assignment Details:**
- Orientation: 16 hours
**Requirements:**
- NY license required
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience
- EPIC charting experience required
- Experience with geriatric/LTC population preferred
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to geriatric patients in a long-term care setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC.
- Exhibit strong communication skills to ensure effective patient and family education.
