Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) team. This position is essential for providing high-quality care to residents with various medical diagnoses, including dementia, arthritis, congestive heart failure (CHF), and cerebrovascular accidents (CVA).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 42-bed long-term care unit.
• Adhere to established patient care ratios: 1:21 during the day and weekends, and 1:42 at night.
• Utilize the EPIC documentation system for patient records and care management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for residents.
• Participate in weekend coverage as per the every-other-weekend requirement.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of professional experience.
• This position is open to first-time travelers.
• Locals must reside more than 75 miles from the unit.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:21 is preferred.

Work Schedule

This position is for a mid-shift, 5 days per week, consisting of 8-hour shifts from 14:00 to 22:00.
