Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a long-term care facility. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential care and support to residents in need. The ideal candidate will have previous travel experience and a valid CNA license in another state, with documentation of a pending Alaska CNA license application if applicable.

Job Details

• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Shift: 4x12 Variable (Day or Night)
• Duration: Choose between a 26-week or 13-week assignment
• Patient Ratios: 1:20
• Required Certifications: BLS; Alaska Food Worker Certification (obtained during orientation)
• Skills Required: Long-term care (LTC) experience
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a CNA
• Must hold a valid CNA license in another state
• Documentation of completion of a formal CNA training program (certificate or transcript required)
• If applicable, documentation of pending Alaska CNA license application, including application submission, fees paid, fingerprints submitted, educational verification, and license verification
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Must be willing to work any holidays and have no more than 2 weeks of requested time off for a 26-week contract
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

• Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
• Scrubs: Any color
• Charting System: ECS
• Free parking is available
• Shuttle transportation will be arranged to and from Anchorage at the start and end of the traveler's contract, with local shuttle services available
