Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

**Title:** Travel RN – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry **Requirements:** - Active compact state license required at submission. - 1–2 years of travel RN experience required. - Reference requirements: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years. - Experience with the Epic charting system is required. - Core clinical skills needed include: - Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation. - Cardiac/telemetry care, managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration). - IV access, PICC, and central line care; phlebotomy and blood product administration. - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), non-invasive airway management, oxygen therapy. - Tracheostomy care and feeding tube care. - Experience with wound care and ostomy management. - Insulin administration and PCA management. - Care for renal failure patients, bowel obstructions, and surgical drains. **Compliance / Notes:** - Floating to nearby facilities is required, and refusal may impact guaranteed hours. - Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day. - Pre-start modules are non-billable and require facility approval if they exceed 20 hours. - Requests for time off must be submitted upfront during the hiring process; flexibility is limited.
