Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

**Title:** Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Care **Schedule:** Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM **Assignment Details:** - Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 - Contract Length: 13 weeks **Requirements:** - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required. - Current CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy required. - At least two years of recent experience in the field. - EPIC experience required. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and nursing processes. - Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care in a safe and compassionate environment. - Assess patient health and develop care plans based on diagnosis and care issues. - Evaluate patient progress toward attaining outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary. - Provide learning opportunities for patients and their families regarding health information and discharge planning. **Compliance / Notes:** - All associates are required to receive all vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. - Medical and religious exemptions may apply. - Holiday requests for time off will not be approved during initial periods.
