About the role
**Title**
Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical
**Schedule**
- Shift Ratios: 1:10 days/nights/weekends
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
**Requirements**
- NY license required in hand to submit
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Previous charge experience required
- Travel experience required
- EPIC experience is a hard requirement
- Required certification: BLS
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Perform and document assessments and interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
**Compliance / Notes**
- Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted.
- RTO rule: cannot submit candidates with >10 days RTO.
- Pre-start facility modules required; module time may be billable (up to 5 hours); additional module time may be non-billable.
- Background checks reviewed case-by-case.
