Registered Nurse – ER

Schedule

Night shifts, 19:00 - 07:00, 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend.

Assignment Details

First-time travelers accepted. Patient ratio is 1:5.

Requirements

• Current NY license required
• 1 year of experience as an ER RN
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications required
• EPIC experience required
• Locals accepted only if outside a 75-mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in an 11-bed medical emergency department.
• Conduct triage and medical clearance of patients.
• Work in a collaborative environment alongside nursing and PCT staff.
• Monitor patients in the CPEP unit for potential further care.
• Perform necessary labs and EKGs as required.
