Registered Nurse (RN) - Director of Nursing

**ROLE – SPECIALTY** **Schedule:** M-F Days **Assignment Details:** - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week **Requirements:** - Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing - AK license required at time of submittal - 5 years professional nursing experience - Minimum 2 years as staff RN in immunotherapy/CHEMO - 1 year with supervisory responsibilities - High school diploma or GED - Valid, current, full and unrestricted RN license - ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Provide oversight for the financial performance of assigned departments and develop annual budgets. - Coordinate orientation and skill development for new nursing staff, ensuring proper performance evaluations. - Assign patient care based on individual needs and staff qualifications, and recommend staffing changes as needed. - Implement and administer policies, procedures, and standards for nursing services while collaborating with other healthcare providers. - Facilitate quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. - Assist in staff training and career development, holding individuals accountable for completing required competencies and trainings. **Compliance / Notes:** - Flu Vaccine Required - No RTO during the first 13-week contract - All-inclusive rate; housing and transportation provided by the agency - Start date will be no less than 6 weeks after receipt of fingerprint cards for processing
