Registered Nurse (RN) - Case Management

**Title** Case Manager RN – Acute Care **Schedule** Shift: 5x8 days Shift times: 07:00–15:30, 07:30–16:00, 08:00–16:30, 08:30–17:00 Weekend requirement: every other weekend **Assignment Details** Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks **Requirements** - AK RN license required - 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience required - Epic EMR experience required **Roles & Responsibilities** - Facilitate discharge planning and case management for diverse patient populations, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. - Conduct care coordination and continued stay reviews. - Perform utilization review and assess medical necessity using guidelines such as InterQual and Milliman. - Manage prior authorization and pre-certification processes. - Ensure compliance with CMS and The Joint Commission standards. **Compliance / Notes** - Candidate must not be local; permanent address must be >= 50 miles from facility. - One time-off request allowed per 13-week assignment (5 days or less). - Orientation: approximately 24 hours. - Scrubs provided.
