Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

**Schedule:** - Days and Nights - Flex as Needed **Assignment Details:** - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 36 **Requirements:** - Must have active RN license in the State of Alaska - Must have BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications - One year of clinical nurse experience preferred **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Coordinate and perform nursing care procedures for patients of all ages. - Make clinical decisions independently; maintain accountability for actions taken. - Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to provide efficient patient care. - Educate patients and families regarding illness, treatment plans, and coping mechanisms. - Conduct comprehensive assessments and document patient care accurately. - Adapt care based on patient acuity and preferences while ensuring safety and infection control. **Compliance / Notes:** - Must have/obtain flu vaccine. - No RTO granted during the first 13-week contract. - Must be willing to float between various units as required.
