Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

**Title** Cath Lab RN **Schedule** Shift: 4x10 days On-call: 1 day/week, every 4th weekend (Fri 1800 – Mon 0730) **Assignment Details** Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks **Requirements** - License: Alaska RN license required (pending licenses accepted for submission; RN license must be in hand for Auto Offer) - Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; first-time travelers accepted - Certifications: BLS, ACLS - EMR: Prior Epic charting experience required - Unit-specific skills: Must meet unit-required cath/interventional skills **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide direct patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab. - Assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI, and other interventional procedures. - Monitor hemodynamic status and support mechanical circulatory devices. - Administer IV medications and blood products as needed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. **Compliance / Notes** - Orientation: 40 hours, with modules completed pre-start (average 16 hours) - Time off: One pre-approved time-off request per 13-week assignment - Compliance documents required at submission: SSN, DOB, RTO, copy of certifications - Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility - Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
