Registered Nurse – CVICU

Schedule

Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), Every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Floating required, when needed (Burn, MS ICU, or telemetry).

Requirements

• 2 years of CVICU experience (1.5 years may be considered with prior experience at a large facility).
• Active California RN License.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Flu vaccination is required (no exemptions) as flu season starts in September.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with cardiac conditions.
• Monitor and manage patients on various cardiac devices.
• Support procedures such as placing central lines, a-lines, and chest tubes.
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

No scheduling requests can be accommodated; must work 3 out of 5 holidays. No requests for time off within the first 2 weeks of employment.
