Schedule

Days - 1:5, Nights - 1:10, Weekends - 1:7. Orientation is held during the day their first week.

Assignment Details

Average Daily Census: 20. Float required per facility need. Weekend coverage every other week.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required
• Certifications: BLS
• Skills: LTC, assist with ambulation, assist with feeding, assist with turning and repositioning, decubitus care prevention, incontinence care, mouth care, perineal care (male/female), shower assistance, skin care, safe patient transfers, and reporting changes in patient condition.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents with Alzheimer’s and/or dementia with unpredictable aggressive behaviors.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, and hygiene.
• Implement behavioral management strategies based on individual resident needs.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to achieve maximum health and functional ability for residents.
• Focus on discharge planning and stabilization of behaviors.

Must submit fingerprint forms within 48 hours of signing. Safety is crucial; the facility cannot accept residents requiring oxygen, intravenous therapy, feeding tubes, or catheters.
