Certified Nursing Assistant – Long-Term Care

Schedule

Full Time, 7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week, Day/Evening shift rotations, every other weekend and holiday required.

Assignment Details

37.5 hours per week.

Requirements

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• Minimum 1 year experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting
• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS certification (must be through AHA or RQI)

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living needs per care plan.
• Maintain resident safety and environment, including responding to call lights and preventing falls.
• Support residents with meals and assistance with feeding when necessary.
• Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs.
• Take and record vital signs and other health metrics.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
• Help meet residents' social and emotional needs through interaction.
• Complete documentation as required.
