Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

**Title** OR RN – Trauma **Schedule** Variable start times (7:00, 9:00) Night coverage may be required. **Assignment Details** Contract Length: Not specified Guaranteed Hours: Not specified **Requirements** - Valid California RN license required - BLS certification required - 2 years of clinical experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho - Experience in general, robotics, GU/GYN, plastics, and ENT procedures - Familiarity with Epic EMR **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide safe and effective nursing care in the operating room for trauma and surgical patients. - Assist in surgical procedures and collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care. - Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies within the operating room setting. - Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and other safety standards. - Participate in the orientation of new staff and contribute to ongoing education. **Compliance / Notes** - Travelers may be required to float to affiliate facilities. - One week of pre-approved time off is allowed. - Expected to work during two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). - Call is required, distributed equally every 6 weeks.
