Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule

Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00). Start times vary, beginning at 0600 and staggering until 0830. Flexibility in scheduling is required.

Assignment Details

Contract length and guaranteed hours are not specified. Nurses scheduled for PACU are expected to finish their day, and shift relief is not available in outpatient surgery.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required.
• California state license required; pending licenses will be accepted.
• No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO).

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients post-anesthesia.
• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and pain management.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding recovery and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
