Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule

3 shifts of 12 hours, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Start times may vary based on assignment.

Assignment Details

Contract length and guaranteed hours may be determined based on assignment needs. Nurses in PACU are expected to complete their shifts without relief.

Requirements

• CA state license required; pending licenses accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related area.
• Availability to work weekend shifts as needed.
• No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO).

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient recovery and care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Communicate with surgical teams and provide feedback on patient progress.
• Instruct patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
