**Title:** Registered Nurse - Acute Care **Schedule:** 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM **Assignment Details:** Contract Weeks: 8 Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 **Requirements:** - Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required - At least two years recent experience in field: Required - Current BLS certification: Required - Recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months: Required **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. - Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. - Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. - Collect and analyze relevant data pertinent to the patients' health or situation. - Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions. - Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide a safe and healing environment. - Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. **Compliance / Notes:** - All associates are required to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. - Medical and religious exemptions may apply. - Background checks may be required.
