About the role
**Title:** Registered Nurse – Acute Care
**Schedule:** Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
**Assignment Details:**
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM): Required
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required
- At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required
- EMR experience with EPIC: Required
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
- Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards of care.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe and effective care.
- Conduct health assessments and develop care plans.
- Evaluate patient progress toward care outcomes.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
