Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

**Title:** Registered Nurse – Specialty **Schedule:** Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM **Assignment Details:** - Contract Length: 8 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 48.00 per week **Requirements:** - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred - Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required - AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required - AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification: Required - At least two years recent experience in field: Required - Current BLS certification: Required - Recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months: Required **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. - Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines. - Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation and analyze this data to determine nursing diagnoses and care issues. - Develop care plans that prescribe interventions to achieve desired outcomes and implement care delivery strategies. - Evaluate patient progress toward achieving outcomes and collaborate with the healthcare team in providing patient care. - Provide learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
