**Title**
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
**Schedule**
Desired Shift: PM Support
Weekends: Must be flexible
**Assignment Details**
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
**Requirements**
- California RN License
- AWHONN Advanced Certification (or C-EFM accepted in lieu)
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- NRP Certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience (with at least 1 year in the specialty area)
- Travel experience required
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide care for patients during the labor and delivery process.
- Monitor and assess patient health status using appropriate technologies and techniques.
- Support and assist in the management of various labor situations, including high-risk deliveries.
- Administer medications, including blood products, as necessary.
- Perform assessments and provide education to mothers regarding postpartum care and infant care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
**Compliance / Notes**
- Orientation: 24 hours
- RTO requests must be included at submission
- Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day
