About the role
**Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Nursing**
**Requirements:**
- Valid state RN license (Compact license must be in hand at time of submission).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN (Intermediate), FHM, NRP.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health using appropriate assessment techniques.
- Assist in high-risk deliveries and management of maternal complications.
- Support neonatal resuscitation and newborn assessments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, parenting, and lactation support.
**Compliance / Notes:**
- Some weekend shifts may be required.
- Must be willing to work 3 of these 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- Must request all scheduling requests upfront during submission; limited pre-approved time off allowed.
