Registered Nurse – Step Down

Schedule

Shift: 12 HR NIGHTS 18:45-07:15

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Traveler experience preferred, first-time travelers accepted
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Stroke Life Support
• Meditech experience required
• Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry (monitoring), IV insulin protocols, Blood Product Administration, Central line/PICC line management, Phlebotomy, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), etc.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients in step-down unit effectively
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient care plans are executed
• Provide and document nursing care according to facility protocols
• Assist in the education and support of patients and their families

Compliance / Notes

RTO (Requested Time Off) is limited to 7 days maximum. Orientation includes 24 hours, with availability required for classes each day during the first week.
