Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule

12-hour shifts from 11:00 to 23:00.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks or more.

Guaranteed hours: 36-48 hours per week.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Traveler experience accepted for first-time travelers.
• Local candidates accepted with rate difference.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB.
• Skills required: IV Start, Triage, Telemetry.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct patient assessments and triage based on severity.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all nursing actions in accordance with facility policies.
• Participate in daily shift huddles for effective communication.

Compliance / Notes

Floating required between Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health, based on need. Minimum of 4 weekend days required per 6-week time track.
