Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

**Title** Emergency Department RN **Schedule** Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45–07:15 Weekend requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend days per 6-week time track; may be as frequent as every other weekend. Holiday requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. **Assignment Details** Contract length: 20–26 weeks Hours offered: Up to 36 hours/week **Requirements** - Minimum 2 years RN experience - Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS/BLS, NIH/NIHSS, PALS, MOAB - Licensing: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submittal **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department. - Conduct patient assessments, triage, and monitor vital signs. - Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. - Keep accurate medical records and document care delivered. - Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions. **Compliance / Notes** - RTO/call-off policy: Strict — RTO after booking is not allowed or worked out onsite; call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation. - Candidate must complete lab/testing within 48 hours after signing. - EKG testing: Must pass prior to start. - Vaccines: COVID-19 not required; Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed). - Pre-start modules are non-billable and must be completed using Chrome or Edge.
