Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

**Title** Emergency Department RN **Schedule** Shift: 12-hour Nights, 18:45–07:15 **Assignment Details** Contract Length: 26 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week **Requirements** - Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience - Previous charge experience required - Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS/BLS, NIH/NIHSS, PALS, MOAB - Preferred: TNCC - EMR: EPIC **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide comprehensive nursing care in the emergency department for patients of all ages. - Conduct triage and monitor patients’ health status, including telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation. - Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as needed, and manage emergencies according to established protocols. - Support airway and ventilation needs, including BiPAP/CPAP and intubation. - Manage behavioral health crises, including handling violent or suicidal patients. - Perform phlebotomy and 12-lead EKG acquisition. **Compliance / Notes** - Must pass EKG testing prior to start. - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed). - Pre-start modules required. - Strict adherence to facility call-off/RTO policy required.
