Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

**Title** ER Registered Nurse – Emergency Nursing **Schedule** - Weekends: Yes, typically every other weekend - On-call: No **Requirements** - Valid RN license required - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience - Preferred: Trauma Level I experience - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC - Experience with Epic charting preferred **Roles & Responsibilities** - Perform triage and emergency assessments for patients in the emergency department. - Interpret and manage dysrhythmias. - Administer continuous IV sedation and monitor intracranial pressure (ICP) as needed. - Provide care for trauma, STEMI, and stroke patients according to established workflows. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting. **Compliance / Notes** - Compliance documents due Monday prior to start date. - Must list any scheduling requests at the time of submission; post-submission requests may not be guaranteed. - Two references required, covering one year within the last three years. - Travelers may be required to float to sister facilities. - Additional facility-specific rules apply.
