About the role
**Title:** Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
**Schedule:** Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
**Assignment Details:** Contract Length: 13 weeks, Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification required
- At least two years recent experience in the field
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
- Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to coordinate patient care.
- Collect and analyze relevant patient health data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
- Develop and implement care plans with prescribed interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide educational resources and support to patients and family members regarding health information and discharge planning.
