**Title**
Registered Nurse - Acute Care
**Schedule**
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
**Assignment Details**
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification: Required
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification: Required
- At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients based on established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe and effective patient care.
- Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health information and care plans.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
