About the role
**Title**
Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology
**Schedule**
Day shift, 9 hours shift, 4 days a week.
**Assignment Details**
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36
**Requirements**
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- One (1) year of registered nursing experience
- International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification
- Experience managing cardiac implantable electronic devices, including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs)
- Experience with device platforms from major manufacturers
- Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia management and electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) interpretation
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of patient care to ensure patient satisfaction and clinic efficiency.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on cardiac implantable electronic devices and related procedures.
- Monitor and document patient responses to device therapy and programming changes.
- Coordinate follow-up care for patients receiving services through the clinic.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
**Compliance / Notes**
- Participation in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives is required.
