Registered Nurse – Cancer Center

Schedule

This position requires working four 9-hour shifts with one weekday off, which rotates based on clinic needs. Regular and sustained attendance is required, with the possibility of working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be necessary.

Assignment Details

Full-time position at 0.9 FTE.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN, ASN, AAS, AAN).
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Montana.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Oncology Certified Nurse certification, outpatient clinic experience, knowledge of electronic health record operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and promote patient health and safety.
• Evaluate outcomes based on patient care plans and modify as necessary.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain competency through continuous education and professional development.
• Demonstrate ethical practice and integrate research findings into patient care.
