Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

**Title** Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab **Schedule** - Call: Required 1–2 nights per week - Weekends: 1 weekend every 4–6 weeks - Orientation: 24 hours **Requirements** - Active RN license in California - 2 years of Cath Lab experience - 1 year of ICU, ER, or PACU experience - Certifications: ACLS, BLS - Clinical skills: Experience with diagnostic cardiac cath lab procedures, including LHC, RHC, PCI, and recovery of cardiac caths; familiarity with structural heart and EP device recovery (e.g., pacemakers, BiV, AICD, cryo); knowledge of PFO and CTO procedures. **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide care and monitoring for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Administer medications and perform nursing interventions as per protocols. - Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and cardiovascular health. - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility guidelines. **Compliance / Notes** - Flu vaccine is required; no exemptions. - Maximum time off allowed is 10 days; no requests within the first 2 weeks. - Return to staff policies apply for prior employees.
