Registered Nurse – Cardiac Tele

Schedule

12 Hour Nights (18:45 - 07:15), 36 or 48 hours per week.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks or longer. RTO: 7 days maximum.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• 1st time travelers are accepted; step-down experience preferred.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.
• Cardiac Tele experience is mandatory.
• Skills: IV start, telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients for cardiac arrhythmias, MI, ACS, uncontrolled diabetes, DKA, heart failure, and post-procedural care.
• Administer cardiac drips, ensuring quality care in line with unit ratios.
• Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in unit orientation and training as necessary.

Compliance / Notes

Floating may be required. Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts. 3-day orientation, including EPIC training.
