Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12 hours (06:45 - 19:15). Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling period, combining Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per week. Canceled shifts must be the regular shift length.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a medical specialty/telemetry unit.
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS.
• Required skills: telemetry, telemetry monitoring on the unit, titrating cardiac drips.
• Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; no pending licenses accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in a telemetry/medical specialty unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes.
• Administer and titrate medications including cardiac drips as per protocol.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and observations accurately in the electronic medical record.
